A CHARMING EVENT VENUE
Since 1930, the year of its inauguration, the Ponte dei Mille Maritime Station has represented the ideal meeting point between Genoa and its port. The scene of the period of great migrations and the golden age of ocean liners, the pride of the Italian navy, it is perhaps the most beautiful maritime station in the world, certainly the richest in history and symbolic value.
Restoration work carried out between 1999 and 2007 by Stazioni Marittime SpA and the Genoa Port Authority has restored the city to a monumental historical – architectural heritage of absolute value and charm: today the station's halls are considered one of the most exclusive and fascinating “locations” in the country, where social events and gala dinners can be organized. Of exceptional charm are the two boarding terraces adjacent to the tunnel on the western and eastern sides, which offer an unprecedented view of the port and the city.
