Built between 1886 and 1892 in a Neo-Gothic style and surrounded by a garden with a truly breath-taking view over the port and city, this building was once the residence of Captain D'Albertis.

In 1932, it was turned into the Museo delle Culture del Mondo (Museum of World Cultures). Housed inside is a collection of unusual, curious objects, the spoils of the Captain's travels on sea and on land between the 19th and 20th centuries.

The Castle offers both indoor and outdoor spaces, providing different options depending on the season, with a breathtaking view of the Port of Genoa and the entire city center of Genoa.
